Privacy Policy

KEYS.COM.PK ("Keys", "we", "us") is a commercial real-estate listing portal for Karachi, Pakistan, covering areas such as DHA and Bukhari Commercial. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website (keys.com.pk) and our mobile application (together, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Browsing only. You can browse public property listings without creating an account. We do not require you to sign in to view listings.

Account information. If you register as a member to post listings, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text).

Listing information. When you post a listing, we store the details you provide: category, title and description, area/yards, floors, phase, price, location, features, and the agent name and contact phone number(s) you choose to display. This information is shown publicly so that prospective buyers and tenants can contact you.

Password reset. If you request a password reset, we store your email and a hashed one-time code with an expiry time, and send the code to your email.

Technical data. Like most services, our servers and hosting providers may automatically process basic technical data such as IP address, device/browser type and request logs for security and reliability.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos from your device, or payment information through the Service.

• To create and manage your member account and authenticate you.
• To publish, display, expire and manage your property listings.
• To let visitors contact listing agents by phone or WhatsApp.
• To send account-related emails, such as password reset codes.
• To protect the Service against fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To maintain and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Tapping a phone or WhatsApp button on a listing opens your device's dialer or the WhatsApp app with the agent's number. Any conversation that follows takes place outside our Service and is governed by the policies of your carrier or WhatsApp. We do not see or store those conversations.

We share information only in the following limited cases:

• Publicly: listing details and the agent contact numbers you choose to publish.
• Service providers that help us run the Service: cloud hosting and file storage (Vercel), our database (Neon / PostgreSQL), and transactional email delivery (Mailjet). They process data only on our behalf.
• Embedded videos: the home page may display YouTube videos. Playing them is subject to Google/YouTube's privacy policy.
• Legal reasons: where required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.

On the website, when you sign in we set a secure, HTTP-only session cookie so you stay logged in. In the mobile app, your session token is kept on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Listings automatically expire after the period set by your plan and may be deleted by you at any time. Password reset codes expire shortly after being issued. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period after deletion.

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and signed session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can view, edit and delete your listings from your dashboard. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing keyskarachi@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. We will process verified requests within a reasonable time, and delete your account details and associated listings unless we are required by law to retain them.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Service may link to third-party sites or apps (such as WhatsApp or YouTube). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
